‘Inglourious Basterds’ Teaser Trailer

11 02 2009

I guess the teaser trailer was released a day earlier than we expected. It looks like this film is going to be the least stylized of Tarantino’s films, which, I kind of like. Sure, I’m a huge fan of his previous work, however I think a change of pace will be good for him and give him an opportunity to try some new things.

I love the cameos in the trailer: B.J. Novak (The Office), Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks), and even Eli Roth wasn’t that annoying. I think that putting so many recognizable actors into little roles like that will make the film more enjoyable to watch as well as give them the opportunity to expand on their acting range. As much as I hate Tarantino as a person, I have to say this trailer looks amazing.

Yeah, this is really just a teaser for the teaser trailer. Whatever. At least we get to see some footage. I must say based on what little we get to see here, I think the film looks amazing. It looks like Tarantino is stepping out of his comfort zone to create something new and different, at least for him, and that sounds so refreshing.

‘Inglourious Basterds’ Trailer To Be Released This Week

Despite that fact that I think Quentin Tarantino has become a pompous, self-loving little prick, I’ve been anxiously awaiting his next film, Inglourious Basterds. I’ve heard nothing, but amazing things about it.

Anyway, this week the first teaser trailer for the film is supposedly going to be released on Entertainment Tonight on Thursday evening, according to French site Allocine.fr. Also, the trailer is rumored to be attached to the new Friday the 13th remake which is being released this Friday (the 13th, go figure).

As much as I’d like to see the trailer, I don’t know that I’d be willing to sit through Friday the 13th. I’ll probably catch it on YouTube or Hulu.

‘Ace Ventura Jr.’ Trailer

24 11 2008

Okay, so the good news is Ace Ventura Jr. is being released straight-to-DVD, so no one has to worry about dragging their kids to see it. The bad news is that it was still made and your kids will be begging you to drive them to the store to waste your hard earned money on it. I’m still wondering why straight-to-DVD movies are still being made. Either way, a trailer was released and whether you asked for it or not, here it is:

5 Minute Trailer For ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’

30 10 2008

Here’s the extended trailer for The Day The Earth Stood Still. While it looks cool, I can’t help but think that it’s going to wildly deviate from the original film–something I do not support. Hell, I don’t even support the remake in general, but perhaps if this movie had a different title, it wouldn’t sting quite so bad. What I’m mostly looking forward to is seeing Jon Hamm in a role outside of AMC’s Mad Men, but that’s about it.

‘Friday the 13th’ Remake Teaser Trailer

23 10 2008

As most of you probably know, a remake of the horror classic, Friday the 13th is being released in February. The teaser trailer was just released and, while it looks awesome, I’m almost 100% confident that it’s going to suck. Do I need to point out that Jason Voorhees didn’t get his hockey mask until the 3rd movie? Oh, and in the original, Camp Crystal Lake was a fully functional camp–not a run down, abandoned ghost town.

New ‘Watchmen’ Trailer from the 2008 Scream Awards

22 10 2008

Not only did the Dark Knight sweep almost every single category, but director Zach Snyder showed up to debut some new footage at the Scream Awards this year. There’s a bunch more slow motion and way more cool poses.

Second ‘Max Payne’ Movie Trailer Explains Flying Black Things; Doesn’t Explain Ludacris In A Fedora

So that’s what those things are! Pshhh. Never would’ve guessed. Now everything is crystal clear (not).

‘Watchmen’ Teaser Trailer

22 07 2008

Sorry I’ve been gone for a while, but here’s something that might cheer you up. The new trailer for Watchmen was released with The Dark Knight on Friday and, being a huge fan of the graphic novel, the trailer looks amazing. Everything literally looks ripped from the pages and plastered onto the screen. March is going to be an exciting month.
